Portugal is the true vacationer's paradise, both of these countries are over-flowing with many castles and medieval palaces and cathedrals. But there is so much more to Portugal, you will find history like no other, and for an added bonus you can also lounge in one of the thousands of miles of pristine beaches that seems to enclose the whole country.

So where do I start my Portugal vacation? you ask?

The great thing about Portugal is that every single inch of the country offers a truly unique experience. The geography and culture is often so different depening on the region that you may often ask yourself if you are still in Portugal. And I haven't even yet told you about the Portuguese Islands of the Azores and Madeira.

If you are headed to Portugal for the first time, I recommend that you visit the major cities of Lisbon and Porto. Both these cities are absolute gems and a must see for everyone. If you are comfortable driving stick, then a car rental is by far the best way to get around, but beware, the Portuguese love to drive fast.

So go and book your ticket today, you will be glad that you chose Portugal as your vacation destination.

Portugal Is A Country Of Legends

What is Portugal? Who is Portugal? Where is Portugal?

To answer these questions it important to understand that Portugal is not just a place, but a state of mind. Portugal is an age, where secrets long forgotten elsewhwere are still alive in legend and myth of the people who still reside there. But its quickly disappearing and that is unfortunate. I'm going to outline some of the places where legend can still be found, and it's important that it be preserved.

carvoeiro is especially favored by regular folks and its a great place to learn about the legends of old.

The old University tow of coimbra should be on your list, but you will need to brush up on your Portuguese.

Although people are attracted to Lagos in the Algarve it doesn't offer anything unique. It wasn't until I decided expand my search for portugal that it became clear that the echoes of the ancients lay in the North.

I will then guide you through sme of the special places that you should visit as I've been working on my turismo rural portugal for quite some time. Learn all you can from the tourist boards as these can boost your knowledge of Portugal as well. Is castelo branco (White Castle) portugal something very interesting resides there, is it myth? is it an aura that can't be fully expressed? Among the old town of  evora little industry exists today, but it is a great place to discover Portugal as it is among the most treasured places where lore and myth have fornicated for thousands of years. Consequently, I am not discussing this matter further.

I've wanted to check out the north, head to the old town of viana do castelo but I was uncertain as to what this old Celtic city had to offer, the people had been integrated into the grid, I headed South to sintra where kings followed the Portugal path to golden riches.

But where is the real Portugal? This is a sentiment I'm hearing a lot of lately. You might think you're not especially interested in lisbon because it is big, but it is still very important to familiarize yourself with this city.

To the north east of portugal bragança stands proud. I feel we have some interesting synergies that Portugal could easily build up. It's here! My terrible and swift thoughts concerning pensao which are a insignificant tabulation of my collection of thoughts .

I am being totally honest here. It is a great place, porto, which must be seen with care and a delicate perspective. But maybe that holiday was all staged. After seeing alentejo firsthand I have to recommend it but castelo branco portugal is like a lost world where ancient ideas are still thought.

Remember, whether you are headed to vilamoura or the lost Atlantic cities of the Azores, there are hidden paths that will take you into an enchanting world of wisdom.  Unfortunately, the answer isn't always obvious, but do stay at any of the magnificent quintas. It is a great idea to get your Portugal looking its best by making use of quintas as your journey on this exploratory path. Travel wisely and take care to understand all that Portugal is offering you, with new eyes you will see.
